Register for a Webinar on Common Cybercrime Incidents Affecting Governments
Join the Justice Clearinghouse for the webinar “Cybercrime and Defenses: A 101 Introduction To How It Works” on Thursday, February 1 from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. ET. Presented by Stacey Wright, Senior Intel Program Manager at the Center for Internet Security’s Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center, this webinar will explain the basic concepts behind some of the most common cyber incidents affecting state, local, tribal, and territorial governments. Ms. Wright will discuss threats, such as botnets, Structured Query Language injections, distributed denial-of service attacks, and malware (e.g., ransomware and financial Trojans), in terms of the damage that they can cause and the best recommendations to help prevent or mitigate them.
