I am a former four-term elected prosecutor for the City of St. Louis.  I now provide consulting services to prosecutors on issues such as policy development, process managment, leadership and communications -- both internal and external.  I work with the Prosecutors' Center for Excellence, and am a co-owner of Vera Causa Group Consulting, LLC, a woman-owned business.

NCPCV is a national non-profit that focuses on community-wide violence and crime reduction. We provide training, technical assistance and programs to communities to prevent the process of violence before it becomes an event. We specialize in law enforcement training, community leadership training, and overall community technical assistance to provide violence prevention strategies and information.

Paper Crane Funding Solutions provides fund development services for municipalities, community organizations and philanthropies, especially when their work intersects and they're working collaboratively.  Having successfully worked with community partners to develop and write the successful BCJI application and Implementation Plan for the Flint, Michigan University Avenue Corridor BCJI site, we have continued to engage with BJA and BCJI grantees to develop public safety strategies and applications to fund these initiatives.

 

Prosecutors' Center for Excellence

Prosecutors’ Center for Excellence works with prosecutors to improve the criminal justice system and to address emerging issues.  PCE develops and supports statewide Best Practices Committees for prosecutors. These non-partisan committees, which consist of prosecutors from all regions of a state, provide a process for prosecutors to proactively address the issues of the day and to strive to improve the criminal justice system. PCE provides technical assistance, training, materials, expert advice, and research on policy issues relevant to the work of prosecutors.
